He specializes in computational biochemistry, protein folding, drug design and discovery, and therapeutic interventions for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Shamsi holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, India, and has contributed to over 150 publications in high-impact journals, with more than 4500 citations. With a strong interest in emerging technologies, he actively explores the integration of artificial intelligence into drug discovery workflows, aiming to accelerate the development of novel therapeutics. Dr. Shamsi is a member of the Royal Society of Biology (FRSB) and American Chemical Society (ACS), and has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious medals for his bachelor's and national level postdoctoral fellowships. With expertise in both experimental and computational approaches, he has secured multiple competitive research grants and awards. Dr. Md. Imtaiyaz Hassan is a renowned structural biologist and drug discovery expert.
