Aisling McDermott was a beauty columnist with The Irish Times. In 2006 she founded Beaut.ie, which went on to become Ireland's most popular beauty website before it was sold in 2014. The Beaut.ie Guide to Gorgeous and Gorgeous to Go were both bestsellers and nominated for an Irish Book Award. Laura Kennedy is a beauty columnist and contributing features writer with The Irish Times. A trained make-up artist, she contributes beauty and make-up tutorials for The Irish Times website and is also currently working on finishing her Ph.D. in philosophy.
