Dr. Julia LaMotte (she/her) is a pediatric psychologist who works with kids and families as they navigate chronic or life-limiting health conditions. She is an advocate for care for both the mind and body. Dr. LaMotte (she/her) spent her childhood exploring libraries and bookstores throughout New England where her parents instilled a lifelong love of reading. She is a pediatric psychologist who supports kids with medical conditions. She is also an active educator to future physicians and psychologists and believes change is possible only through knowledge. Dr. Seethal Jacob (she/her) is a pediatric hematologist whose passion is caring for kids with sickle cell disease and advocating for better access to healthcare. She lives with her husband and 2 dogs. Dr. Jacob is a physician who leads a pediatric sickle cell program, and her life's work focuses on improving the care people with sickle cell disease are provided. She loves doing this by seeing kids in her clinic, and by understanding the ways in which families access medical care as a health services researcher.
