A bumblebee can fly, and so can I

Overview

A Bumblebee Can Fly, and So Can I is a beautifully illustrated collection of affirmations centered on disability, identity, and self-worth. Through gentle yet powerful language, the book offers a counter-narrative to the limitations often placed on individuals with disabilities-encouraging readers to challenge internalized doubt and embrace their full potential. Each affirmation is paired with original artwork inspired by nature, animals, and the healing connections between them. Rooted in an eco-therapeutic perspective, this book invites readers into a journey of self-acceptance, empowerment, and belonging. It is ideal for individuals with disabilities, their families, educators, and anyone seeking a more inclusive and affirming worldview. Uplifting and accessible, this book serves as both a daily reminder of worth and a celebration of the strength found in every individual.
