OverviewWhenever I would describe my son, I would use the phrase ""he is everything that is perfect in the world."" That phrase wasn't meant to imply that he was a perfect child who didn't make mistakes. It mean he is perfect as he is. Granted, my son is known as being brilliant, mannerable, witty, and ambitious. I constantly affirmed him by speaking life into him. I was very careful with my words, which can speak life or death. Due to the flow of the poem, I changed the word from perfect to blessing. Blessing implies perfect. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image (Psalm 139:14; Genesis 1:27). What would the world be like if every child was told from birth he or she is a blessing for the world? Imagine if he or she was told early he or she has a destiny, purpose that is meant to bless this world. As a result, the child will know he or she is significant and needed.
