From his childhood in Kampala to the streets of New York where he organized tenants, challenged power, and inspired a movement, Zoran's life reflects the very spirit of resilience that defines immigrant families worldwide. While New York is the backdrop, the story reaches far beyond its borders. It is the universal tale of immigrants who rise despite every obstacle. It is the story of the working poor who find strength in solidarity. It is a reminder that leadership is not born in boardrooms-it is born in classrooms, in crowded apartments, in community meetings, in struggles that test the human spirit.
