Love to work with animals? Zoology is the study of everything having to do with animals, including how and why they look, act, and behave in their environments and with other animals. As a zoologist, you might study how elephants solve problems or take care of tigers at a zoo. Jennifer Swanson is an award-winning author of more than 20 nonfiction and fiction books for children, including Explore Forces and Motion for Nomad Press. Jennifer has a B.S. in chemistry from the U.S. Naval Academy and her M.S. Ed. (K-8) in science from Walden University. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida. Lena H. Chandhok earned her degree from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2011. She illustrated Engineering: Cool Women Who Design and Astronomy: Cool Women in Space for Nomad Press. Lena lives in Brooklyn, New York.
