He directed excavations on the Qumran Plateau from 2002-2012 and co-directed the excavation of Cave 12 at Qumran (2017) as a part of the new Operation Scroll. He is author of several popular books on archaeology including The Stones Cry Out, Secrets of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Rose Guide to the Temple and contributed archaeological entries to the Eerdman's Dictionary of the Bible. H. Wayne House (ThD, JD) is distinguished research professor of theology, law, and culture at Faith Evangelical Seminary, Tacoma, Washington.
