Overview

After moving to the town of Pryor Creek, 17-year-old Zoey Parker befriends her new neighbor, Ezma Weston. Over time, Zoey observes strange and sometimes unsettling behavior from her new friend. Warned by a fellow classmate named Rachel, to stay away from Ezma, Zoey discovers a dark history between the two girls. When she finds they're telling conflicting stories, Zoey must decide who's lying. After residents begin turning up dead, Zoey and Ezma are both named suspects, though Ezma adamantly denies any involvement. As tensions begin to rise throughout the town, Zoey and Ezma are made the targets of escalating violence. In fear for her life, Zoey is left to wonder if befriending Ezma was a mistake.
