Prisi R is a passionate writer, mother, and Texan native. Inspired by her strong and beautiful 8-year-old autistic daughter, Megam Zoe, Priscilla's life experiences fuel her writing. Her first publication, Pain Anger and Tears, paved the way for her diverse writing journey. Now, with her second book, she ventures into children's literature for the first time. Priscilla's writing is a tribute to her supportive family and a testament to her love for exploring different genres. Mercedes Verona, originating from Acuña Coahuila Mexico, is an inspired illustrator with a creative mind. He began drawing at age 8, encouraged by his father, engineer Oscar David. Mercedes's illustrations have adorned murals in his hometown, but his first illustrations to be featured in a book are for Zoe is Her Name. He views this project as a fulfillment of a shared dream with his late father, making each sketch a tribute to him. With his debut in book illustrating, Mercedes hopes for many more creative opportunities.
