Reviews

'Staging a confrontation between perhaps the most influential figures in poststructuralism and psychoanalysis, Vighi and Feldner establish their fundamental sites of overland and opposition as well as the stakes involved in a choice for one rather than the other. Adherents of Foucault can thus no longer avoid the critical challenge of A izek's thought to their basic notions of archeology, genealogy and discourse analysis. As it changes the fundamental terms of academic and political thought, A izek: Beyond Foucault is a vitally important intervention in contemporary politics.' - Jodi Dean, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, USA
