He has written numerous scholarly studies, including The Halutz Resistance in Hungary (New York, 1986), La Shoah (Paris, 1989) and Persecutions et sauvetages; Juifs et Francais sous l'occupation et sous Vichy (Paris, 1993). Dr. Yehoyakim Cochavi is a Senior Instructor at the Ghetto Fighters' House (Israel), and a specialist on German Jewry and particularly Jewish spiritual resistance from 1933 to 1939. He has published numerous studies on the Shoah in Germany and Poland, including Arming for Spiritual Survival (in Hebrew, 1988).
