Author Information

Hussain Etemadi was born in August 1981 in Afghanistan. With the invasion of the Soviet Union, his family migrated to Pakistan and then to Iran. An environmental engineer, he has a bachelor's and master's degree from Tehran University, Iran, and a Ph.D. from Hafen City University Hamburg and EAWAG/ETH Switzerland.He likes nature, words, deep conversation, and world-class movies. His love for books started at a very young age when reading and imagination were the only way out of his small, isolated world. Following years in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Europe, the U.S. has become his home since 2018.
