ROBERT SOLANO is a soldier, storyteller, loving husband, and father. He balances his passion for writing with his successful career as an executive in the defense industry. With a wealth of experience in both his professional and personal life, Robert has used his skills and insights to craft compelling books that touch on a variety of subjects, including marriage relationships and children's stories. Despite his demanding career, Robert is dedicated to his writing and sharing his stories. He is a gifted author whose work is sure to captivate readers of all ages.The character of Zandunga was inspired by Robert's wife, Zaira, whose cousins call her Zandunga. Like Zandunga, Zaira overcame challenges to become an immigration attorney and entrepreneur. In this book, Robert is proud to share his family's Dominican and Puerto Rican Taíno heritage. Stefanie Geyer is a children's book illustrator from Winamac, Indiana. When she's not making illustrations, you can find her enjoying nature, hiking in the woods, and gardening.
