Now, we're proud to bring you the ultimate guide to shopping in New York. By surveying thousands of people, we hope to have achieved a uniquely current and accurate guide, one that will lead shoppers to new finds as well as reliably smart, self-assured decisions. This edition covers 2,305 stores in 50+ categories ranging from fashion to furniture. To make sure this guide is up-to-moment, we've also included some places that have not been rated yet. The shops covered in the book were rated separately on the quality of the merchandise, presentation and service by 7,500 surveyors, who shop on average 2.75 time a week (adding up to more than a million trips a year!).
