Z263-A

Overview

This is the third book in the Taken sequel series. An alien ship brings an Earth anthropologist with a quantum scientist and her alien lover to the moon planet designated by the aliens as Z263-A. Its native population calls it Jewel. The native Oshki welcomes the visitors and makes them feel comfortable. All is not as it seems in Jewel. The physicist finds the planet moon to be strangely uniform and deliberate. Spontaneous complexity appears suddenly seemingly as a response to their thoughts that question missing plants and animals. The natives and their Miigis mentors have a plan, and they gradually peel back the layers of mystery for the humans and their alien friend. The visitors learn that the experiment of Jewel has implications for the survival of humans on Earth and for the understanding of life in the universe. As always, the importance of RoH, the human-alien hybrid, comes to the fore.
