Overview

Pebble thought she had years before the mantle of leadership fell to her shoulders. Will the time between semesters be enough for her and the pack to adjust? It's winter break, and Pebble's plans were to hang out with friends or relax with a book. When Pebble's parents are called away for an extended period of time, Pebble ascends to pack leader until they return. New people want to join the pack, and they need to learn the ways of the wolves.
