Sumaira Ahmed has always had a passion for helping people and teaching. Her hobbies from a young age were art & crafts related, poetry, problem-solving, and playing puzzle games. These, combined with an inquisitive mind, is probably what helped push her towards studying Science and earning a Bachelor's degree in Physics as well as a PGCE in Secondary School Teaching Physics (with the other Sciences). Now, as a mother of two young girls, she's connecting her personal experiences and hobbies with her educational background. She became inspired to start writing books because she personally felt and saw a need for a book that she could read with her own children to lovingly guide them and teach them that they are so much more than their physical appearance, and that life can be so much more enjoyable and fuller when they focus on what's on the inside instead. She hopes that this first book will be enjoyed by many other children and help other parents, too. After all, we're not just raising children, we're growing their minds, bodies and souls - and all of that takes a work of heart! Vanessa M is a creative and versatile visual artist and children's book illustrator with over 7 years of experience in digital and editorial illustration. Specialized in character design, visual storytelling, and background illustrations. Skilled in branding, identity, and design services with a strong track record in creating impactful visuals, including stage designs for The Oscars (2023 & 2024). Passionate about editorial illustration that combines artistic creativity with narrative clarity.
