On February 15, 2011, my husband, who was 49 years old then, had a completely unexpected heart attack. I still have a very detailed memory of what happened to him, and to myself, from the perspective of a partner. I was sucked into a whirlwind of emotions. Still, what prevailed was mostly joy, as my husband survived the heart attack. Thus, You're a Heart Patient is a positive story, told from a positive perspective. This story will be truly recognizable to many partners. Each year in the Netherlands, there are more than 25,000 cases of people with myocardial infarction. Els Wolff was born on August 26, 1964 in Berkel en Rodenrijs, where she still lives with her husband and daughter. After high school, at the age of 16, she started working in the banking industry and still works there. She debuts her book, You're a Heart Patient, written from her heart, and inspired by her own challenges in life.
