Author Information

Jess Sanders is a social worker and bestselling, award-winning author of books including Love Your Body, Be Your Own Man and the Life Lessons for Little Ones series. Jess has a passion for creating resources that nurture positive mental health and promote gender equality. Every project she pursues is born from the question, 'Why does it have to be this way?'. Jess is regularly invited to speak on radio and at events about her work and her books. Alice Buckingham is an illustrator, frog enthusiast, and tea drinker from Devon, who currently lives in sunny Brighton in the UK. She graduated from the University of Brighton with a first class degree in illustration, and her favourite mediums to work in are digital painting, gouache, watercolour and coloured pencils. Alice has loved all things art-related since she was a little girl. She spent her childhood writing stories, drawing, swimming in rivers, climbing trees, and rolling in the mud – and her love of adventure is reflected in her bright palette and whimsical illustrations.
