DAVID MARSH is Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Birmingham, UK. He has published widely in the areas of British Politics and Political Sociology. THERESE O'TOOLE is Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Birmingham, UK working in the fields of 'race'/ethnicity, political participation, youth and refugee studies.
