As a young child, Martha Black always dreamed of becoming an author. After many years into her career as an elementary teacher, Martha decided it was finally time to pursue her dreams. When her mama became terminally ill with cancer, Martha vowed that her mother's death would not be in vain. Martha's heartfelt belief is that through the loss of her own mother and the writing of this book, God will use her story to help comfort both children and adults alike who have experienced losing a loved one. Jennifer Hartman is a portrait photographer based in Northwest Arkansas. She is best known for her whimsical children portraits. Having worked with various art mediums throughout the years, it wasn't until she had children that she decided to pick up a camera and fell in love with photography. When not in the studio she can be found with a cup of coffee, a book, and the world's cutest Goldendoodle.
