Both Tim and Rick grew up in London before leaving home to study and pursue their separate careers. Rick has lived in three continents and worked in or visited more than 100 countries. Recently retired from the World Bank, and living in Montreal he now teaches international business at McGill University and consults on issues related to fighting corruption and strengthening government accountability. He enjoys reading, family get-togethers and playing with his grand-daughter. Tim worked in the gold mining industry in Africa before return to the UK where he worked in the domestic goods and later the oil industry. In 1990 Tim set up his own company providing benchmarking and business process improvement services to a range of clients both in the UK and overseas. Tim sold his business and retired to help care for their ageing mother. Tim now volunteers on the Camino de Santiago, plays clarinet in the local university band and is involved in church and other charities. In their travels around the world, Rick and Tim experienced much joy, saw a lot to laugh about and much to inspire, but at the same time they saw poverty, deprivation and injustice. This book builds on these experiences and seeks to both make people laugh, inspire them and, at the same time, to raise funds for charity. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to charity Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
