Author Information

Dr. David Viola is a Professor at the Center for Terrorism at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City and the award-winning filmmaker of Trumbo. He received his Doctorate in U.S. History from the CUNY Graduate Center and also holds a B.A. from Binghamton University, and a Master's degree in International Security from Tufts University. He has contribted to major media outlets including the New York Times, Guardian, Washington Post, BBC, and CBS News. At heart, David is a native New Yorker.
