She is co-creator with Julie Morstad of four critically-acclaimed and award-winning books: This Is Sadie, When I Was Small, Where You Came From, and When You Were Small. Her most recent book is A Family Is a Family Is a Family with Qin Leng. Sara splits her time between Hudson, Quebec and St. Martins, New Brunswick. Karen Klassen in an award-winning freelance illustrator and painter, specializing in fashion, lifestyle, and portrait illustration. Her international clients have included Rolling Stone, LA Weekly, The National Post, Maisonneuve, and The Sunday Times Magazine. Karen lives in Calgary, Alberta.
