Pedro J. Fernández (Delaware, 1986) es ingeniero, sommelier y tarotista. Durante más de una década ha publicado novelas y textos para público adulto e infantil, en las que humaniza a los personajes de la historia de México. Entre sus publicaciones se encuentran Yo, Díaz; Iturbide, el otro padre de la patria; Morir de pie; Soy Malintzin y Había una vez mexicanas que hicieron historia, varias de las cuales se convirtieron en éxitos editoriales. Como parte de su trabajo literario en la difusión de la historia de México, ha colaborado en diferentes revistas, periódicos y podcasts. También es el creador de la cuenta @DonPorfirioDiaz, centrada en la divulgación histórica y la sátira en redes sociales. Asimismo, es co-creador (junto con su esposo, el sommelier Andoni Vales) del proyecto Cenas con Historia, que fusiona la historia de México y del mundo con la gastronomía y el vino. Pedro J. Fernández (Delaware, 1986) is an engineer, sommelier, and tarot reader. For over a decade, he has published novels and texts for adults and children, in which he humanizes characters from Mexican history. His publications include I, Díaz; Iturbide, the Other Father of the Nation; Dying Standing Up; I Am Malintzin; and Once Upon a Time, Mexican Women Who Made History, several of which have become best-sellers. As part of his literary work promoting Mexican history, he has contributed to various magazines, newspapers, and podcasts. He is also the creator of the @DonPorfirioDiaz account, which focuses on historical dissemination and satire on social media. He is also the co-creator (along with his husband, sommelier Andoni Vales) of the Dinners with History project, which fuses Mexican and world history with gastronomy and wine. Pedro J. Fernández is the winner of the 2020 Caniem Distinction for Children's and Young Adult Book of the Year for the book Once Upon a Time Mexican Women Who Made History 2.
