Overview

On Mount Everest, the highest mountain of the Himalayas where the sun almost touches the snow, lives Yeti. The peaceful life of this lovable creature is interrupted by the piles of rubbish left behind by the horde of climbers each year. As Yeti organizes a cleaning mission with a small group of helper Sherpas, a massive snowstorm hits. Will Yeti be able to keep his helpers safe and return the mountain to its pristine glory?

Andrea Tripke is a German born children's author and illustrator. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and her illustrations have won several Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators awards. Learning about the overwhelming amount of rubbish on Mount Everest sparked the idea to write a story that would bring awareness to young children about the environmental disaster. Andrea lives with her family in Melbourne, Florida. When she's not writing or illustrating children's books, she sketches larger-than-life portraits of rock stars and teaches pilates.
