In Los Angeles, he hosted weekly radio shows at KPFK, interviewing notables in the Arts such as Ray Bradbury, Anais Nin, Frank Gilroy, James Dickey, Charles Aznavour, Marcel Duchamp and Elsa Lanchester. At the same time, he co-produced documentaries at KCET Television, including The Watts Poets, Glossolalia and a segment of PotPourri dealing with the East L.A. Drug Prevention Center. His plays include a collaboration with Paul Bowles, on Bowles' novel, Love with a Few Hairs, The World of Tennessee Williams, and a TV script dramatizing the role of Duke Paoa Kahanamoku in introducing surfing to the public. At the time of his death, he was compiling the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow plays for publication. He is buried with his parents and two older brothers in Arlington National Cemetery.
