Yeseni and The Daughter of Peace

Overview

'An intriguing look at history and moral dilemmas through a fantasy lens' Kirkus Reviews 1748. Elewa is the 'Daughter of Peace', the young mediator charged with holding a fragile truce in her West African kingdom. Then she discovers Yeseni - a gift that lets her see any moment in time and step through it. A vision drags her into the hold of a slave ship. If she intervenes, she might change the past. If she stays, she might save the peace her people have bled for. Elewa must choose: rewrite history or protect a future hanging by a thread. 'A magical, mesmerizing novel in which a gifted girl seeks the wisdom to discern the right path' Foreword Reviews
