Overview

It turns out Matt and Lilah have more in common than an address and a dislike of carrot cake. Growing up in a touristy seaside town is hard, especially if you run a comic book shop. Matt's life just isn't going right. Made homeless by his landlord, then losing his neighbour and biggest cheerleader, Matt is so grateful when he discovers Lillian has left him the shop. But he was also promised the flat above, which means he now must make its new owner a sworn enemy. Until he realises they've met before. Lilah is ready for a fresh start. Having already lost her career and home, she's on the way up, starting with moving to live by the sea. Building an art business where her aunt Lillian left off, Lilah is determined to make something of this new life, and would love if it included the gorgeous man in the shop downstairs. It's almost as if Lillian had thought this through, and she's determined to get Matt and Lilah together, one yellow petal at a time.
