Author Information

JULIE LARIOS is a published poet and the author of two previous picture books. She was awarded the Academy of American Poets Prize, was nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and has taught creative writing at the University of Washington. She lives in Seattle, Washington. JULIE PASCHKIS has illustrated many books for children and has had a number of solo gallery shows. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
