Established in 1990, the Yearbook of International Environmental Law has quickly established itself as a vital source of information and considered analysis in the fast-growing field of international law and the environment. The first three volumes of the Yearbook were published by Graham and Trotman (part of the Kluwer group). The Yearbook is now published by OUP. As part of an attempt to increase awareness of the subject throughout the world the OUP has reduced the price of the Yearbook radically so as to bring it within the reach of a larger number of individual scholars and practitioners. By halving the price of the Yearbook the publisher hopes to ensure its continued popularity and utility.
