XM Caf was located on XM channel 45 and was also available on DirectTV channel 832. The channel was scrapped as a part of the Sirius XM Merger in November 2008. It was replaced by the Sirius Satellite Radio channel The Spectrum. Prior to the merger, XM Caf aired a pure format of modern adult alternative music. The channel was part of XM's original programming lineup, dating to 2001.From 2007-07-31 until 2008-09-30, the Starbucks-operated XM channel Hear Music merged with XM Caf to create the Starbucks XM Caf. The format of the channel was mainly modern adult alternative music with some elements of the old Hear Music channel.
