Xi-Bootis A: Planetfall Secundus

Overview

Xi-Bootis A Planetfall Secundus This book is set before Golden Age II - The Great Explosion, which was largely set in the year 3495 AD. This book portrays the events starting from the discovery of the homeworld of the Thols in the year 3450 AD, right up until the timeline of the book, Golden Age II - The Great Explosion. The homeworld of the Mimasian Thols is finally found in the Xi-Bootis double star system, 22 light-years from Earth. The Tholish homeworld orbits the system's primary star, Cathol, a spectral class G8-V yellow dwarf star, slightly cooler and less massive than our Sun. It is designated Secundus, as it is Cathol's second planet. The Mimasian Thols call their homeworld Homwol. There are five sapient species Indigenous to Secundus: Indigenous Thols, Carlins, Harricks, Tarlaks and Chittens. The name of Secundus depends on the species you ask, for Thols it is Homwol, for Carlins it is Vale, and for Tarlaks it is Tarlakan. This is the story of the first contact with and colonisation of Xi-Bootis A Secundus, an Earth-like world with a single supercontinent, Masula, set between the years 3450 AD and 3494 AD. This book provides the story of the colonisation of the world, Secundus, and the backstories, trials and tribulations of the characters involved in Golden Age II - The Great Explosion.
