Xavier Grall is a journalist, poet and writer Breton born 22 June 1930 in Landivisiau (Finistere) and died on 11 December 1981 in Quimperle (Finistere). A bronze sculpture to his memory stands on the 'Promenade Xavier Grall' on the banks of the river Aven in Pont-Aven. His work magnifies the mystical Brittany. Xavier Grall Breton again when he left Paris in 1973, returning permanently to the area of Pont-Aven in Nizon at the farm Bossulan.
