Xavier Grall (1930 - 1981) was a journalist and poet from Brittany, France. Xavier Grall is a journalist, poet and writer Breton born 22 June 1930 in Landivisiau (Finistere) and died on 11 December 1981 in Quimperle (Finistere). A bronze sculpture to his memory stands on the 'Promenade Xavier Grall' on the banks of the river Aven in Pont-Aven. His work magnifies the mystical Brittany. Xavier Grall Breton again when he left Paris in 1973, returning permanently to the area of Pont-Aven in Nizon at the farm Bossulan. He worked for The Catholic Life, where he was chief editor of the newspaper Le Monde, the weekly Christian testimony, and the Breton monthly.
