His interest in international trade stems from over 20 years of international business management experience, predominantly in the telecoms sector, where he managed businesses with complex multinational supply chains. Subsequently, Dr Welsh completed his master’s degree in International Economic Law at the University of Strathclyde and spent eight years as Senior Lecturer in Bahrain, teaching International Trade Law, Logistics, Aviation Law, and Maritime Law, while concurrently completing his PhD studies at Strathclyde University.
