Lunsford is Professor of English at Stanford University. In thirty years of writing together, Ede and Lunsford have co-authored twenty-three articles and book chapters. ""Audience Addressed/Audience Invoked: The Role of Audience in Composition Theory and Pedagogy"" won the CCCC's Richard Braddock Award in 1985 and has since been reprinted in ten anthologies on rhetoric and writing.
