Overview

Introduce students to 35 famous American women from US history. Kids will read simple facts about each individual and then practice their writing skills by using the provided information to write sentences. Next, students will edit their sentences. Finally, students practice their handwriting by writing a final copy of their sentences about each woman. For more advanced writers, have them focus on writing a paragraph with connected sentences.
