Ernesto Rueda, who holds a master's degree in English from the University of Texas, El Paso, is an associate professor at City Colleges of Chicago. Professor Rueda teaches courses in composition, comparative mythology, introductory literature, and graphic novels, a course he founded at his university. He is also the author of several historical encyclopedia Batman entries for Comics through Time: A History of Icons, Ideas, and Ideals.
