Overview

I decided to expose myself within these poems. I'm good at hiding behind walls, anchoring myself down in complete blankness. Not allowing much to move me. But that only caused me to stay stagnant. I realized that I did want to experience life on another level. I'm tired of trying to control every situation and others, so I won't get hurt. I'm tired of angry outburst over the most minuscule things. I don't want to be afraid to love and receive love. Even if I get hurt, it's okay! At least I can say I loved. In this chapbook, you'll get an insight of my past relationships and my unorthodox perspective on what once worked for me. Hopefully you'll see my growth in some of these poems as well. I'm still learning, healing, and living. Which means, more inspiration to write and share my journey through my poetry. Much love to all reading this
