OverviewIn the CD-ROM, the student is asked to identify the location of a photograph. Each photo is accompanied by a caption. To focus his or her search, the student uses GIS modelling to map regions according to the visual and textual data and selects from a list of available themes and categories. The program then generates a world map to those themes, areas that do not meet the specifications are greyed out. From the visible area, the student selects a potential location, and continues to do so until the location is correctly identified. Performance assessment is available for viewing and printing.
