His undergraduate degree was in Information Systems and he earned a MBA degree. Later he completed more than 24 additional graduate hours in the subject. Currently he teaches Mass Communications and English courses as a part-time adjunct professor. He lives in a rural area of Northeastern North Carolina with his wife and four dogs.
