In my career as a teacher, author and literacy consultant, I have read a lot of children's books - a lot. I use many in my classroom and recommend countless stories to teachers at workshops. I've found through my extensive experience with children's books that some stand out more than others; some for their beautiful illustrations, some make great read-alouds and others are perfect connecting books. "Lora Rozler is a Canadian author of children's books. She's written numerous titles including Words, Freshly Baked Pie, Lucky Me, The Three Witty Goats Gruff and A Sackful of Poems. Her stories embody a lyrical sensibility which is a distinguishable trait of her work. Lora's passion for writing and art began at a young age and followed her into the classroom where she pursues her lifelong dream of teaching.
