Author Information

Alberta Natasia Adji is a contemporary author and researcher in women’s life narratives. She completed her PhD on auto/biographical fiction at Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia, in 2023. Her autobiographical project focuses on family history of Chinese Indonesians from 1959 to 2014. Adji was awarded the 2023 School of Arts and Humanities Research Medal by ECU for the quality of her doctoral research thesis. Before coming to Australia, she has published two novels in Indonesian language, Youth Adagio (2013) and Dante: The Faery and the Wizard (2014). Since then, she has continued publishing her short fiction works in New Writing, Meniscus, and TEXT as well as refereed articles in academic journals.
