Overview

This research focuses on the analysis of the socio-economic conditions of women selling banana beer in the face of banana bacterial wilt in the BUGARULA group: current situation, value chain, issues and outlook. The general objective of this research is to analyze the realities experienced by the saleswomen, to understand the constraints they face and to suggest ways of improving their living conditions. Using a mixed methodology, the study proposes issues, analyzes the banana value chain and suggests ways of improving the socio-economic conditions of banana beer sellers in the BUGARULA group in the face of the persistence of banana bacterial wilt.
