Author Information

Writer Jason Aaron's early collaboration with artist Cameron Stewart on DC/Vertigo's The Other Side was named one of the Washington Post's Best Comics of 2007. His next project, Scalped, garnered industry-wide praise and led to a guest spot on Wolverine, beginning Aaron's long association with Logan on various titles, as well as the rest of Marvel's merry mutants on books including X-Men- Schism, Wolverine & the X-Men and Amazing X-Men. Aaron rocked the Marvel Universe with Original Sin and unfolded a status-quo-shattering Asgardian epic across multiple Thor titles. He was the ideal choice to steer the Rebel crew of Star Wars into new adventures on the series' return to Marvel, and he ushered in a new era for the publisher with Marvel Legacy. In the wake of that one-shot, he took on Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers and welcomed another iconic property back to the House of Ideas with Conan the Barbarian. The son of industry pioneer Joe Kubert, Adam Kubert has won numerous comics-industry achievement awards - including an Eisner Award and a Wizard magazine award. His landmark runs on Wolverine and Incredible Hulk made him a superstar, leading him to work on X-Men titles including the Marvel Universe-changing Onslaught saga. His subsequent efforts for Marvel include revisiting the world of Logan on Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the blockbuster sequel Origin II. Kubert joined the stellar artistic lineup of the event series Avengers vs. X-Men, and his subsequent work includes All-New, All-Different Avengers; Peter Parker- The Spectacular Spider-Man; and Captain America. In 2020, he made a triumphant return to his signature character for the Dawn of X relaunch of Wolverine. Brazilian artist Renato Guedes began his career in 1999 while studying at the prestigious Quanta Academy of Arts. Drawing covers for Opera Graphica, he eventually made his way to DC Comics, working on the Superman family of titles. Guedes has also worked for IDW Publishing and Avatar Press. With writer Jason Aaron, he helped relaunch Wolverine in 2010. Known for his gritty style of pencils and inks - with textures reminiscent of greats Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli - Spanish artist Jefte Palo has illustrated the miniseries Doctor Voodoo- Avenger of the Supernatural and Taskmaster; the series Moon Knight, Black Panther- The Man Without Fear/The Most Dangerous Man Alive and Incredible Hulk; the one-shots X-Force- Ain't No Dog and Wolverine- The Anniversary; and more.
