Author Information

Sylvia M. Medina is the president, primary author, and creative director of the Green Kids Club. She has spent her career focused on environmental issues and helping to preserve animal welfare. She developed the Green Kids Club concept, which would help her children, as well as other children around the world, learn early positive environmental habits that they could share with others. Douglas W. Smith is Yellowstone National Park's Senior Wildlife Biologist and Wolf Project leader. His original job was as the Project Leader for the Yellowstone Wolf Project, which involved the reintroduction and restoration of wolves to Yellowstone. He has produced five books: ""Decade of the Wolf,"" ""Yellowstone Wolves,"" ""Wolves on the Hunt,"" ""Yellowstone Birds,"" and ""The Wolves of Yellowstone."" Andreas Wessel-Therhorn has been working in animation for more than 32 years for, among others, Walt Disney Feature Animation and Warner Brothers. His credits include Hercules, Tarzan, Fantasia 2000, and Mary Poppins Returns.
