Rudolf Muhr ist Gründer und Leiter des Forschungszentrums Österreichisches Deutsch an der Universität Graz. Seine Hauptarbeitsgebiete neben dem Österreichischen Deutsch sind Sozio- und Variationslinguistik und die plurizentrischen Sprachen der Welt. Marlene Peinhopf ist Juristin und Übersetzerin für die Sprachen Italienisch und Englisch. Sie arbeitet als Lecturer am Institut für Römisches Recht der Universität Graz.
