Born and raised in small-town Texas, Jan Dunlap has lived almost half her life outside the USA. Jan, who has a formal background in sociology, spent ten years in Puerto Rico, where she met Fidel Castro, and more than thirty years in Mexico, where she owned a restaurant-art gallery.
