Joanna Nisbet grew up in New York State and now lives in North Carolina with her husband of twenty-six years and their two children. She works part-time in a busy dermatology office by day and full-time on mastering all her crafts at home. She has been the subject of interviews with online magazines including Voyage, Voyage Raleigh, and Canvas Rebel. With Bated Breath is her second book, following her debut novel In the Heritance. Her third book, Grief's Gift, will publish in December 2026.
